This is MY business, so who will make things happen if I don’t?” Most business owners find themselves asking that question at some point. It’s usually about when you reach a plateau where you are doing everything humanly possible, and it suddenly isn’t enough. You know (or may not know) that you are probably slowing things down, but you can’t figure out what to do about it. After all, YOU are the core of the business, you close the deals, you handle customer concerns, you pay the bills. But do you think that all of those wealthy successful business owners are still doing that? Nope. If you are still the “manager” of your own business, you might as well just go back to the daily grind and get a regular job.
Being a business owner, you need to be the “Chief Entrepreneurial Officer” (CEO), not the manager. By keeping your hands in the middle of everything, you have become the bottleneck and are crippling your growth.
