Who is the Fixer in Your 6 or 7 Figure Business?

Did you see the movie Michael Clayton? In the movie George Clooney plays a high-priced law firm’s fixer. When something goes wrong, he fixes it. When jobs don’t get done, or people make potentially disastrous mistakes, he swoops in and fixes it. He’s not a partner, he’s not the star and he’s not the one bringing in all of the money for the firm. However, by dealing with the messes, he makes it possible for the partners to do their job, practice law. If they were running around trying to fix everything, their days of high priced lawyering would be over.
So, while being the head of a law firm is a bit different than being an entrepreneur, you still need a FIXER and it can’t be YOU!
If you spend time fixing things you are wasting time and taking yourself out of creator mode. I know you may think that it’s more effective to just fix the problem than train someone else how to do it in the future, but it’s not. You are the LEADER, not the fixer. Wouldn’t it be amazing to take off on vacation, spend the day writing or focus on building relationships with potential partners knowing that your FIXER is in place to handle it all?
At The CEO Factor Retreat this is just one of the concepts we’re going to talk about and, by the time you leave there, you’ll have a specific strategy for either making your fixer even better or hiring one that will allow you to be the leader you need to be to take your business into the 7 and 8 figures.
Who’s fixing the problems or mistakes as they happen in your business?

Sounds like a movie I ought to add to my Netflix list, Melanie.
I admit, there are still fixes I’m doing in my business that it’s time to let go of. Part of the reason I do it is because it’s a good feeling to be able to fix something that’s gone wrong which begs the question: what payoff am I giving up for this small emotional one?
Thanks for the food for thought!
